The Primary goal of the K.I.N.D. Group Mentoring Program is to provide young men with positive male role models. K.I.N.D. seeks to assist young men with learning the necessary skills to become successful, confident, well rounded and socially conscious men.
Kids In Need of Direction (K.I.N.D.)
The primary goal of the K.I.N.D. Group Mentoring Program is to provide young men with positive male role models. K.I.N.D. seeks to assist young men with learning the necessary skills to become successful, confident, well-rounded, and socially conscious men. The KIND Program will hold a program orientation for prospective mentees and parents. This will provide a complete overview of the program and provide an opportunity for parents to complete the admission packet.
The program will have twelve (12) consecutive sessions, which will run for approximately two (2) hours. The sessions will consist of:
A weekly training session
Real talk sessions
Homework assistance
Occasional recreational activities
A light snack
